COASTLANDS Church began in 1953
as Montello Baptist Church
- initially as a Sunday School which began in the shed of Richard (Dick) and Ruth Goninon.
The first 50 years have seen many ups and downs
- a short history describing some of these events
was published recently
in the Tasmanian Baptist Advance magazine
Copies of this can be obtained from the church office.
Currently there are approximately 12 regular attenders.
We see ourselves as a community
- a family - who welcome all

Our worship style
- is informal, relaxed and low-key "charismatic"
... make yourself a cuppa to drink while we worship.
Participation by a large number of people in leadershipis encouraged.
